Quinta do Peru was the first golf course built in the Azeitão region between the castles of Sesimbra and Setubal, which is well known for its palaces, its wines and cheeses.|The course, with its many trees and wild flowers, offers a varied start.|The most difficult test on the course, hole 16, a Par 3 over 200 metres, where one needs to get over a lake to reach the green. After eighteen holes there is a number of golf-related activities available and also a clubhouse providing excellent views over the surrounding landscape, with the imposing and beautiful Arrabida mountain range in the background.

A lovely golf course, with excellent support facilities in its clubhouse and extensive practice area. The course is challenging and varied and again offers something for players of all handicaps. Always in excellent condition. The staff are friendly and helpful throughout. Another of my regular picks for golf in this area.

Wir haben, dank des freundlichen Personals in Aroeira, die Spieltage getauscht. Heute Aroeira 2 und Morgen 01.10.2019 Quinta do Peru.
Aroaira 2 ist in einem sehr guten Pflegezustand. Fairways und Grüns sind topp.
Immer wieder gerne hier zu spielen.

Quinta do Peru ist unser Lieblingsplatz.

Resally impressed with Quinta do Peru. Starting with the practice ground which is probably the best I have used - it really is excellent. Then, more importantly to the course. This is in great condition and is good fun. It is set up so that it is not daunting for the higher handicapper and for the better golfer (especially off whites) it is a challenge to get a good score with the small greens.
Beautiful views of the Arrabida mountains on holes 3-7 in particular, lovely playing amongst the massive pine trees.
Hospitality in the clubhouse was great, we had delicious sardines and great value local wine.
The lady who was I think the caddiemaster (who sorted out our buggy) deserves special mention as she is the friendliest and most helpful person we met on our whole golf tour.

Top course. Very well maintained, friendly people, good practice facilities. Course beautifull, greens perfect, views stunning. Very enjoyable. Pity the clubhouse, very nice to end the day with a drink and a bite has no view on either hole 1 or 18.

As ever, this course did not disappoint. It is always beautifully maintained and run by friendly and helpful staff. A good test of golf for all handicaps; although some might find the tight tee shots a little challenging in places. Would always be on my list of places to play in this area.

This is an outstandingly good golf course. All of the off course infrastructure is of the highest standard, as is the course itself. It would appeal to golfers of all standards, but is also a good challenge for low handicap players. Of all the courses we played during our recent trip, this is the one that felt most like a private members' club. We were, nevertheless, made to feel very welcome by all of the staff. We will definitely return on future trips to this area.

The course was a very positive surprice. Generally I would give 4+. Layout was good, the clubhouse atmosphere classy, and the courses challenging and varied enough. Greens were also very uniform and in excellent condition. I would come here again.

Fantastic overall golf experience. This has the feel of a very private golf club, which looks after it members and guests well. The clubhouse facilities and practice area are of the highest standard. The course is good, with enough challenges for players of all standards. Somewhere we would definitely return to.

The course was worth a 6. The marshal and the greenkeepers were friendly, but the personal in the restaurant and the golfcounter were very unhelpful

All was good until we got to the 10th, to find that the club had sent a 4 ball out in front of us. We were a 2 ball. Spent next 2.5hrs watching 4 poor golfers hols us up. They only played 9 holes. Why the club could not send them off the 1st hole which was empty rather than spoil our round?

We played 3 courses whilst in Aroeira, without question Quinta Do Peru is a real gem, some great holes with challenging water features, a must play if in the area.

Sadly we were washed out after 13 holes, shame because the closing holes looked to be the most interesting.
I would rate this course 7/10 .
Club house was very welcoming , serving excellent home made food.

Our teetime was delayed by about 45 mins as there was a club competition taking place but this wasn't a problem for us. Fantastic course.

This is a lovely course. It has the feel of a locals club rather than a tourist course, which is a good thing. If your in the area I would definitely recommend.

This course holds 92nd spot and meanders through 300 acres of pine forest, with the Arrabida mountain range as the backdrop. This is a classic Rocky Roquemore course with vast American style bunkers and expansive water hazards. It has featured on the European Challenge Tour.
Played early Feb '12 and was in fine form with the green set to a pacey 12 on the stimpmeter. First impression is that it looks as though the grass is burnt! Don't be alarmed. Bermuda grass goes brown in when the temperatures dips in the winter. The green soon comes back. Well worth a trip.
We waited patiently for the Members to finish their weekend competition and teed off just before 1pm. This time it was an individual stableford full handicap format. If we were expecting slower greens we were mistaken – they were once again set to 12.
