Dunas Terras da Comporta
Developed by David McLay-Kidd, the par-71 links-style Dunas Course was constructed with the highest sustainable norms, resulting in approximately 84 hectares of natural, sandy terrain that is expected to evoke parallels to some of the most renowned golf courses in the world, upon its summer 2023 debut. There will be a brand new clubhouse and golf academy built to complement the new Dunas Course.
With Festuca grass-sown fairways, this course offers a formidable test of skill in a breathtaking backdrop. The length of the course, 6,597 metres, makes it exceptionally difficult and calls for pinpoint precision. There are six alternative tee boxes for each hole, so you may play at your own pace, whether that's a leisurely stroll around the park or a serious challenge to the course.

What a wonderful experience, which lived up to our highest of expectations. This was the first time we have played at Dunas, but it will not be our last. The course was beautifully presented and is a seriously good and enjoyable test of golf. Greens were slick and true.
The whole experience from the moment we arrived until we left was outstanding. The welcome was superb and nothing was too much trouble. Everything was beautifully presented, the burger at lunch was excellent and the general customer service was impeccable. All the staff/team had smiles on their respective faces. Practice facilities were to a high standard.

The course experience from when you arrive greeting is exceptional. The practice range is very nice . The staff all over are super friendly . We had played the course last year around the same time and think it was in better shape . But still very nice 8/10 . The layout is very interesting.

We found Dunas Comporta to be exceptional. The tees, fairways, and greens were in perfect condition. The course layout is fantastic. The course is very undulating, with holes that are somewhat similar but never repetitive. It’s enjoyable for golfers of all skill levels, with six different tee boxes. During our visit, the course was not very busy; we felt like we were alone all day, as the fairways are isolated from one another with two exceptions.
Since nothing is perfect, there are two things they could improve: the quality of the sand around the greens and the speed of the greens.
The welcome is friendly, polite, and warm; we were greeted as soon as we arrived in the parking lot and guided to the clubhouse.
