Praia D’El Rey is arguably the most stunning golf course in Europe. It’s set among extensive pine forests and undulating dunes, with spectacular views over the Atlantic and the Berlenga Islands beyond. Deep bunkers, sloping greens and sandy dunes contrast sharply with the lush fairways making it the complete golfing challenge. Praia D'El Rey is rated amongst the top golf courses in Europe by Golf World magazine and is one of the major golfing destinations for both private and sponsored events.|Praia D’El Rey is a mixture of seaside links and parkland holes with a par of 72, offering the golfer a unique experience during their round. Players are required to have a valid golf handicap certificate. Minimum handicap requirements are: men 28, ladies 36.

Our second visit to Praia Del Rey this week booking through Teetimes.pt. Everything ran smoothly and golf reception very helpful. It is a marvelous golf course with outstanding ocean views and amazing holes. In excellent condition and found it good value for money compared to some Algarve corses. Can’t wait to return.

nice looking course, in good condition with a good variety of holes. Unfortunately, they run tee times every 11 mins (not in itself a fatal error), but from the 1st and 10th tee at the same time. THis leads to ridiculous queues at various places around the golf course and rounds that easily top 5 1/2 hours. This has to change as it leaves many angry people in what could be a very pleasant environment.

Have played PDR a number of times.
Always enjoy the experience , this time we played with a pair who had never played it before and actually realised signage is poor on course.
Thought the greens weren't up to usual standards, pock marked and hairy.
Big problem was pace of play. I know it is busy but no rangers on course keeping it moving, we were waiting on every hole....
Not much point in giving us a tracker...gave no indication as to our pace as that was entirely predicated on the people in front of us or actually the group in front of them .
Having said all that - we will of course go back!
