We played Dunas almost one year ago and returned as the course layout, conditions and whole experience was excellent. Sadly, this time in late Sept the fairways were in poor condition (different types or patches of grass and too wet) as were many of the tees but the greens were very good.
Overall, glad we returned for the super layout and experience but some of the conditions will need to improve if they expect to maintain high green fees.

Perfect venue, great service, course works on the front 9 meant conditions on the tee and fairways was not at its best but it is clearly a fantastic layout and the conditions will be better at certain times of the year.

Back again at Dunas, and it is still great! Greens are fantastic, but the fairways and tees has a lot of damage. Even with the damages, it is still top 10 in Europe.

The staff were amazing , so friendly and helpful . It was my birthday so they engraved my bottle with Hapoy Birthday - went above and beyond. The course is great - I played Torre the day before , the 2 courses are great . Torre would be my favourite if I only could play 1

An amazing experience, the course is excellent, both in design and condition. And all the staff, the gate security, the buggy staff at the car park and the reception, were all so friendly and helpful, everything was so good we went back and played it again 2 days later.

Dunas Terras da Comporta is not just a round of golf, it's a golf experience. When you drive up to the entrance, you are greeted by a friendly member of staff who checks your tee time. Then it's a lovely drive through the trees with the odd view of some of the amazing holes. On arriving at the car park, you are greeted by another member of staff in your buggy. A quick drive to the temporary clubhouse that could grace many of the courses I've played. The practice facilities are just in front of the clubhouse and are second to none. Registration is in the small pro shop. Again, the staff were extremely friendly. The course was fantastic. Every hole is very different. My favorite was the 13th, a downhill par 4 with an amazing view. This is a course you must play if you are going to Portugal for golf.

It was our first visit to Dunas Terras and we had the pleasure to play the course twice. The course layout is great, the setting is beautiful and the maintenance is of highest quality. All members of the staff were very friendly and helpful. A wonderful experience that we highly recommend to any enthusiastic golfer.

Can't speak highly enough of this course. Amazing colour contrasts and fairway shapes. Greens large, undulating, very fair.
Lots of room off the tee but lots of trouble if you are in the wrong places. Condition excellent.
Visually stunning and great fun to play A must for any golf tourist in the region.

Friendly and welcome staff, great course in excellent conditions. Good practice and warm-up facility. Holes are not as easy to remember, as all are somehow the same, lot of sandy waste areas framing the fairway left and right and couple of strategically placed bunkers in landing zones. Play as soon as you can if you want to enjoy it in natural and quiet state in the midst of coastal pine forrest, as major residential construction already started around the course.

This has the potential to be one of the best courses in Europe. The absence of full clubhouse facilities is a downside, but I assume there are plans to build one soon. Very good and attentive service from all staff at the club.

Dunas is one of these rare beauties, full service (buggy, pyramids on practice greens and drivingrange, starter, buggy bar, etc. Even the waste area's are raked. Top course, top conditions that come at a cost.

Wonderful golf course in magnificent condition. Played it two days in row to enjoy it more.
A must play for any golfer but from tee 62, it’s 6800 yards and carry can be 240 on one or two holes.
Anyone can enjoy it from the 57 tees.

Truly a fantastic experience and course. Condition is immaculate and it is so quiet it is likely playing your own private club. Just make sure you pick the right tees for you (don't be over ambitious) as there is no run on fairways and many play to up slope landing areas. Play here before they build all the homes and it gets packed!!

Our first visit to Dunas.
It was fantastic.
The welcome and attention to detail are outstanding.
The Course is spectacular and in perfect condition.
We played twice and enjoyed both rounds.
This was a very memorable golfing experience.
I have played 650 different golf courses and this is at the Top for me.
We would recommend this to anyone that enjoys golf.
This must go on your golfing to do list.

Course is truly fabulous but clubhouse is very small. Can barely sit 12 people inside when weather is bad, only 2 loos and no shower or changing room.

I played here in June and it was perfect. I would not have believed it could get so bad so quickly. On the front nine the fairways are like a farmers field and the greens very slow. The back nine is better. The sand in the greenside bunkers is extremely heavy and makes them almost impossible to get out of. At the moment £150 a round is about £100 too much.
