In January when we golfed at Quinta Da Marinha it had rained a lot during the evening and early morning. We arrived for our tee time and staff were very accommodating with moving around our tee time to accommodate us. We ended up teeing off close to our original time which was great. No buggies were allowed on the course but we had the option to use a push cart or an electric cart. Course was a bit wet but we had a great time.

Quinta da Marinha is a good course with some excellent holes, especially as you get down towards the ocean. Mainly in good condition. However the pace of play was really slow with no Marshall’s to be seen and no attempts to keep play on track.

Excellent service in arranging tee times. Course is very playable with excellent greens and some very nice scenery. Par 3s are sublime. Walking is easy too.

We enjoyed our holiday there
One problem was the heating in the floor ground
While the weather was rainy and cold, we needed warm rooms,was but the air conditioning heated especially the kitchen area
